Does any one take Vitamin B complex along with other RA drugs. I'm on Humira, Leflunomide and sulfasalazine. I was wondering if Vitamin B might help increase the energy levels?
The write ups say to check with a pharmacy Confused !

I am hoping perhaps someone else has tried this along with the prescribed medications. Smile

I seem to be continually shattered at the moment.... whatever I do!

Hi Anne,

I take Calcichew, which is calcium and vitamin D. I was prescribed these because of my dexa scan and also my blood calcium and vit D were very low. I am on Humira and mtx.
Can't say I've noticed an increase in energy though, although low vitamin D levels are known to cause fatigue.
Why not ask to have your blood level checked then your doc will prescribe vitamin D if necessary?

Sorry Doreen I meant Vit B. I've been given vit D. Getting my B's and D's mixed up. Just amended the title and text!!

I thought it was me that had got it wrong when I saw the new title!RollEyes
Forgot to say that I also take a multivitamin tab daily, with my GP's knowledge.
Why don't you ask to have your vit D levels measured anyway, most of us with RA are apparently deficient in vit D , which does cause fatigue (as if we need an extra cause!).
